When you visit one of the truely iconic locations of Australia, you want to experience it in its full glory. This shot here was actually the day after seeing it, but being a little disappointed. I caught it for a beautiful sunset, but there were SOOO many people. You couldn’t even get a shot without someone tripping over your tripod. So it was a bit of a let down. Regardless, I decided to head back for sunrise and my-word it was worth it. There were three of us down there, compared to the hundreds the night prior, and the rolling clouds made for a seriously epic experience. If you go there, get up before the sun does. You might have some luck, you’ll certainly have less people.
