Over the space of a few weeks, I was lucky enough to do the first Instagram Takeover of Federation Square. If you’re not aware, Fed Square sits right next to Flinders Street Station, and really is the meeting place of Melbourne. It was great to get some special access of this iconic Melbourne landmark, but equally awesome to get to eat my way around and get to know it a little better. I’ll let the pictures do the talking, but all up, this is all within under 5 minutes of walking distance from each other and there’s plenty to see and do.
The hustle and bustle of Melbourne's @federationsquare Federation Square is home to major cultural attractions, world-class events, tourism experiences and an exceptional array of restaurants, bars and specialty stores, this modern piazza has become the city's meeting place. Since opening in 2002, Fed Square (as it is known to locals) has become one of the most visited attractions in Melbourne with more than 10 million visits a year and since it hosts over 2000 events each year, it's easy to see why!
